NON-IMMIGRANT VISA
APPLICATION/PROCESSING FEE

All applicants are required to pay the application fee, regardless of age, except diplomats applying for any type of visa, and similar officials traveling on official business. Payment slips are available at the U.S. Consulate and should be used to pay the fee at any bank of the applicant's choice. The payment is non-refundable, regardless of the decision to issue or deny the application. Even if an application is actually never being submitted, the payment cannot be refunded. If any other fees are required with the issuance of a visa, these must be paid upon approval of the visa directly at the office of the U.S. Consulate.

As of September 8, 2009 the visa application fee is Euro 91.70 (= the equivalent amount of $ 131). The fee must be paid in Euro at a local bank or post office.

NOTICE TO OUT OF DISTRICT APPLICANTS: Applicants not resident in Austria are encouraged to save the application fee and apply at a U.S. Embassy or Consulate in the country where they reside. In general, applicants who are not Austrian citizens or who do not reside permanently in Austria will rarely be issued visas at this post.
